Deb Emery
Candidate for Maine State House District 76
Belgrade, Fayette, Mount Vernon, Rome, Vienna, and Wayne.

Why I'm Running

About Deborah

Deborah's family goes back many generations in the Belgrade area.

Deborah is a longtime Mainer from Wayne, a newly retired school administrator, and former teacher who is running for the House because Maine needs leaders with a strong voice and vision.

As an educator, her desire to improve the lives of our youngest citizens and their families guided her career.

Deborah is the kind of person who doesn't sit around and wait for others to solve problems. Immediately upon retiring, she decided to run to represent our area in Augusta.

Deborah will energetically represent our communities by supporting funding for our schools, by supporting small businesses, and by supporting our seniors.

Why I'm supporting Deborah Emery

Beck Seel, Belgrade

Deborah cares deeply about helping people and listens carefully to their concerns. Her intellect, compassion, leadership skills and ability to work with people of different viewpoints will make her a valuable member of the Legislature as she tackles important issues, including tax relief, quality schools, reliable broadband, affordable healthcare, and protection of the natural environment. I urge you to vote for Deborah Emery!

George Smith, Mt. Vernon

Throughout my life, I would never have imagined a time when I’d be helping Democratic candidates, but that’s where I am today. One Democrat I’m really enthused about is Deborah Emery, the House candidate in my district. My wife Linda knows Deb, who was a teacher, principal and superintendent.

Deb visited with me a while ago, to get my advice, and I was very impressed by her. She’ll be like the legislators I worked with, making friends in both parties.

Margaret Lane, Wayne

I have known Deborah for almost 40 years. She has been the hardest

working woman that I’ve known in whatever job she has undertaken. She

is courageous, persistent and successful in reaching her goals. She

will be a strong asset in the legislature!

I have always admired her for her intelligence, her courage, and her commitment on behalf of women of the world.

I am honored. Here's the announcement:

Lenny Reich, Belgrade

As a Maine public school Principal of the Year, she’s great working with people to accomplish goals, whether it’s budgets, new programs, or finding ways to get the most from available resources. She does her homework and always comes prepared.

Deb’s family has had a camp on Androscoggin Lake for years, and she’s thoroughly committed to using the State’s resources along with local efforts such as 7 Lakes Alliance to preserve our lakes for future generations. We need her representing us in the Legislature.
